There are four of us on an old wooden boat: two humans and two cats. You might find some pics on my Pinterest board “Cats on board”. All money raised with my stripy designs are used to help us restore our sailing home. Thank you!
#2. Love learning, figuring out new ways of doing things and share this knowledge
I designate one day each week as my “study day”, when I don’t work on my patterns, but try to learn something new, such as new stitches, techniques, constructions, ways of joining, etc. I often dive into other crafts, which are non related to crochet/knitting, just to take something interesting from there and bring it into crochet and my patterns.
#3. Love yarn
Each skein is a challenge for me as a designer. Thinking about the best possible yarn transformation is the most exciting part of my job. If you are in yarn business and are interested in my designs for your yarn, do not hesitate to let me know.
